...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL BRADLEY...NORTHERN
POLK AND SOUTHEASTERN MCMINN COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM EDT...

At 1015 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Benton, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Athens, Benton, Etowah, Charleston, Calhoun, Reliance, Hiwassee Ocoee
State Park, and Dentville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
