Our EMWIN System

Our EMWIN system is made up of a Zephyrus Electronics Weather Direct WX-13 Satellite Receiver which receives the EMWIN signal from the GOES 8 Satellite. The data is connected to a custom built PC which operates the RealEMWIN and WxMesg software packages. This computer is interfaced through the local area network to the web server for processing of the files on the website. The entire system is on battery backup in case of normal utility failure.
